Selected into competitive 10-week public health program at the University of Michigan as a part of the Centers
for Disease Control Undergraduate Public Health Scholars program.
Participated in seminars, lectures, and workshops relative to public health topics, such as health equity, health
education, policy, and community initiatives.
Served as a volunteer in various community organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Food Gatherers, DTE
Energy Farm, and Maker Faire Detroit.
Utilized field experience and hands-on work learning in the field of public health as an intern in the beverage
quality department at NSF International, working to uphold standards in bottled water safety.
