Classroom Management Plan

Spring 2014

Statement of Purpose
This classroom is a safe and positive learning environment. Students will be able
to be creative and investigate a range of topics throughout history. All students
will be expected to come to class ready to learn and participate in all classroom
discussions and activities.

HOMEWORK: Homework will be placed in appropriate
basket after entering room.!

BELL

RINGER: Students will complete the bell ringer activity


upon entering room and after submitting homework. After
completing the activity students will place their completed forms
on the front table.!
FREE

TIME: When students have free time they will choose a


magazine or newspaper from the box and work on a current event
to report on during class time on Friday.!

Student will raise hand and ask to use the


restroom when appropriate. Student will make sure to take the
classroom hall pass with them. Only one student is to be out of
the classroom at a time.!

RESTROOM:

OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES: Students will not have


electronic devices when the teacher is lecturing. Use of
electronic devices is permitted during independent work and
during group work if needed. If use is excessive and not
appropriate electronic devices will not be allowed in the
classroom.!

Crisis Plan
Student in desk #1 will walk to oce and notify oce
personnel.!
