As of 7:37 AM Earth time, the war between the Inner Planets and the Order is Over. The Unity, now having complete autonomy from the Order, can begin rebuilding. There are rumors that High Admiral Galvin will resign his position. If the rumors are true, The Unity can prepare to make the election of a new high admiral.

Celebrations erupted across the inner planets, from Earth all the way to Baelon as the Order of Interplanetary Settlements pulled out after a five year war. The conflict came to a close just a few days after the escape of Unity Captain Robert Zeal who said, The Order has a choice to make; it can either continue this war, weakening themselves for the next threat, or it can withdraw. Captain Zeal was captured by the Order after his crew were all killedin-action, but managed to escape with only minor injuries. He was immediately placed back on the frontlines of the conflict without intensive evaluation, something this reporter considers a poor example of leadership from the High Admiral. There will be time for us to sort through the rubble of who weve become and what weve gone through later, High Admiral Galvin said two days ago when Zeal was recommissioned, but for now, we have to focus on winning this war.

The focus must have paid off,
because as of 7:37 AM Earth Time, the war ended. The Unity, now having complete autonomy from the Order, can begin rebuilding both its economy and its infrastructure. With the fighting done, there are rumors that High Admiral Galvin will resign his position, having made the statement last year that, I will see the Inner Planets rested from the hands of the Order, and then I will find somewhere to live in peace within the galaxy that we have fought so hard to create. If the rumors are true and Galvin does resign, the Unity can prepare itself to make the biggest decision since the declaration of war; the election of a new High Admiral. Some have speculated that the Unity would eventually demilitarize and become more democratic, but it is safe to say that the change will come slowly. After years of fighting, the Unity has no stable civilian government, so the responsibility falls on the military. Until we know whether an election will truly be held, we must first look back on all that weve accomplished. The Unity originally started as a protest group against the Orders harsh rule, but after the Mars Massacre in which seventy-three protesters were gunned down by Order forces, the protest group transformed into an armed militia. This militia originally named the Sedition would eventually gain enough momentum and support that it would be able to rival the Order forces within the inner planets. Taking up the name

The War is Over! the Unity of Human Civilization a nod to the Order government being inhuman began combating the tyrannical force with hit-and-run tactics. Eventually, with the Unity growing in numbers, the war turned conventional in the second year. Now, that conflict has ended. Although the total cost of human life is still being calculated, it is believed that over fifty-six thousand

of the five years it took to drive the Order out. We mustnt forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice to secure our freedom, the High Admiral said this morning. But, we also mustnt let their loss lessen the importance of what they fought for. Because of what they did, a bright future awaits us.
