One is Gireesha and the other is Girisha. It is more clear in the sanskrit, as
english does not make difference between long and short vowels.

It is nice to know the meaning of each of the 108 names of Lord Siva. Can
you please publish the same for the names in Vishnu Sahasranamam? Many
of us recite it without knowing the meaning of the names. Sometimes there
are different interpretations for the names in different commentaries; these
also have to be highlighted.
