Men
Luke 16:19-31

of the unique and valuable culture of

of animistic practices and weirdos

The traditions, however seemingly good but the values and the doctrines are biblically wrong.
People are persuade to embrace the traditions and its practices but they are covering the
biblical truths about life after death.

A tale of Two Dead Man will tell us the destiny to the whole humanity
and also help us to know on what will happen to us after life?

God wants us to know.death is only


transcends us in life to eternity.

What will happen to us


after life?

I. A departed soul has its


own destination (v.19-26)
Heb.

9:27Just as man is destined to


die once,and after that to face
judgment.

A. A soul that sins will be thrown to


Hades (Luke 16:19)
Hades

is a partial punishment of the


ungodly (v.19-26)

place of torment or anguish (v.24)

The

departed soul that being carried to


Hades or Hell will wait for a long time
until the White Throne Judgment. A soul
that is judged suffers the second death to
the Lake of Fire.

Rev.

20:11-15

Then

I saw a great white throneand him who was


seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence,and
there was no place for them.12And I saw the dead,
great and small,standing before the throne, and books
were opened. Another book was opened, which is the
book of life.The dead were judgedaccording to what
they had doneas recorded in the books.13The sea gave
up the dead that were in it, and death and Hadesgave
up the deadthat were in them, and each person was
judged according to what he had done.14Then
deathand Hadeswere thrown into the lake of fire.The
lake of fire is the second death.15If anyone's name was
not found written in the book of life,he was thrown into
the lake of fire.

B. The innocent and the righteous soul


will go to Abrahams bosoms (v.20-22,23)

- Unquenchable Fire Mark 9:43; Luke 16:24
- Worms not die (Mark 9:48)
- Memory and remorse" 25, 27-28
- Intense, unsatisfied thirst Luke 16:24-25
- Misery and pain Luke 16:24-26; Rev. 14:10-11
- Frustration and anger Luke. 13:28; Matt. 24:51
- Eternal separation Rev. 21:8

PLACE FOR REPENTANCE IN HELL

III. In the Land of the LIVING God appoints


messenger to preach Salvation (v.27-31)
Through

the course of redemptive


history, we witness the culmination of
Moses and the Prophets. What they
preached and taught has come. We
have their prophecies fulfilled in
ChristSomeone rising from the dead.

Jesus Christ now appoints us his


followers to preach!

CONCLUSION
How

you live your life now determines


where you spent to eternity. When get
there, you can longer undo your situation.

My

friend, A Tale of TWO DEAD MEN show to


us that our suffering because of doing good is
nothing compare to what we are going to
receive after this life. SERVE GOD and
CHOOSE LIVE IN RIGHTEOUSNESS.
