CONTRACTORS RESPONSE

1. Please justify the thermal effect is negligible.

2. The coefficient of wind load (Cp) has to consider.
3. Please justify the load factor: 1.25.

1. Thermal effect is only considered

when a temperature difference of 32
degrees C occurred according to MTR
specification Section ES 24. Therefore it
is considered to be negligible.
2.Wind pressure coefficient of 1.4 is
adopted.
3.The load factor is revised to 1.6 for all
loading for conservative design.
