Mr. Muhammad Ahsan Khan o/o WEA Faisalabad was appointed as Sub
Engineer BPS-11 on 15.05.1982 on work charge basis vide appointment
letter dated 12.05.1982 (F/A). He was later on re-designated as Sub
Engineer on 05.03.1987 as per entry in service book at page#09. The official
is contesting that his seniority may be fixed from his date of appointment as
on 15.05.1982 instead of 05.03.1987
He has also stated that his DPE status may also be updated in the seniority
list as he has passed DPE vide (F/B). On perusal, it has been found that the
official has passed DPE of Sub Engineer (Civil) to Jr. Engineer (Civil) however,
Director (Exams) WAPDA has clarified vide his letter dated 11.09.2014 (F/C)
that one should be promoted when he passes DPE in his relevant category.
The official being falling into Mechanical cadre, should pass DPE for Sub
Engineer (Mech) to
Jr. Engineer (Mech).

BRIEF
Mr. Javaid Iqbal o/o Addl: DG (Transport) WAPDA was appointed by the office of CE
Kalabagh Dam Project as Draftsman BPS-11 on 27.12.1981. He was later on
re-designated as Sub Engineer (Mech) on 23.12.1986 by the same as per entry in
service book at page#07. The official has requested to include his name in the seniority
list.

The official has passed DPE for promotion from Sub Engineer (Mech) to Jr. Engineer
(Mech) as per (F/A). He has also provided training certificate from WEA Faisalabad
titled as Tech. Refresher Course for Sub Engineers (4 weeks) (F/B).

BRIEF
Mr. Liaqat Ali, Sub Engineer, office of GM (Projects) North was appointed as Sub
Engineer on 02.05.1985 on temporary basis, later on, he was declared regular
w.e.f. 02.05.1985.
