Founded in 2007 in Los Angeles by Lillian Barbeito and Tina Berkett

Named "the company of the future" by Joyce Theater Foundation
Internationally recognized for their high quality work
Best known qualities: athleticism, style, versatility, and theatricality
Has performed for sold out audiences at festivals and prestigious theaters such as Jacob's
Pillow Dance Festival, The Broad Stage in Santa Monica, Annenberg Center in
Philadelphia, and World Music/CRASHarts in Boston
Countertechnique, classical ballet, contemporary ballet, classical pointe and variations,
contemporary pointe skills, contact improv, and modern partnering

Our Opinions
Joselyn: I think that BODYTRAFFIC is
an interesting company. Their work
shows a lot of creativity and
originality. I like how they use
different types of music, such as jazz
and music from different languages.
My favorite pieces were the ones
that had a musical/theatrical
element, like O2JOY. I would
definitely go see them live if the
opportunity ever comes around.

Nicole: I think that BODYTRAFFIC is a

weird and unique company. I like how
they incorporate theatre and I like
the way they dress when they dance.
Its something that makes them look
original. I didnt like the different
types of music they used. I dont
think I would watch them live if I
could because I didnt feel as
interested in their dance and it didnt
really catch my attention.
