Bullies sometimes get jealous of your achievement and it was exactly what

happened to Bale. He was a victim of physical bullying because the bullies

envy of Bales fledgling acting career, especially when he was only thirteen. He
was kicked and punched by several every day for years. He felt like his life was
a living-hell at that time.

A Lesson for Life

Bale said that he has learnt an early lesson in how being an actor could make him
different and that he was aware he could stop living with the consequences by
quitting his job as an actor. Luckily, he did not give up being acting, otherwise we
wouldnt be able to see his extraordinary performances in the Batman series,
American Psycho and so many other movies.

Instead of turning his bullying experience to negative energy, Bale has taken it as
a lesson for life as it had made him become stronger. You may not need to see
the positive from bullying experience like Bale did, however, you must not give
up for the things you like because of the bullies disapproval. You never know
where it could take you. So, next time, before you want to do anything unwise,
think of Christian Bale, the brave man who refused to give in.

Most bullies are narrow-minded teenagers who do not have their own accomplishment. They do not see
the good in people but only the different between them and the people they envy at. This is true even for
Daniel Radcliffes classmates. While they had this precious opportunity to be friends with the famous
Harry Potter, they had chosen to bully him. Conclusion: Jealousy leads to blindness and blindness leads
to stupidity.
Radcliffes bullies always devalue him by saying awful things to him. Kicking and punching
were also involved at that time. Fortunately, Radcliffe was able to protect himself by
fighting back so he rarely went home with bruises and scars. Moreover, whats more he
did not let his ability go to waste. He also stood up for those less fortunate kids, who
were physically strong enough to protect themselves. Radcliffe helped them even when
the bullies were a few years older than him. If you have the ability to help those suffered
from bullying, would you do it like Radcliffe did?

Stand Up If You Can

Besides of fighting back when being hit, Radcliffe also developed a sense of
improvising to fight back verbally and had a line for anything they throw at him.
This is not the ultimate solution for bullying, nevertheless, this is still, an ideal way to
embarrass your bully/bullies and make them to leave you alone. To come up lines to
fight back verbally may not be easy. Try to imagine what your favorite person would
say if he or she was you.

When one is being bullied, it is inevitable for one to be lack of confidence. And the
lack of confidence can easily result in poor performance in school and in life, which
will eventually lead to bullying again. If one can find a way to boost his or her
confidence, one may have chance to escape this never-ending cycle and stop
bullying. For Eminem, that was how he got rid of his bullies.

I Felt Like a Fighter Coming Up

When Eminem was little, he and his mother were always on the move. The lack of stability made Eminem
always the new kid in schools and making it hard for him to establish relationships with his schoolmates and
neighbors. Being an outsider also meant being a target for bullies. Eminem was constantly confronted and
beaten up by youths in his schools and neighborhoods. There was a time Eminem suffered a severe head
injury after being beaten up by fellow classmate who said he and other classmates would flipped him
(Eminem) right on his head at recess and that they would run away until Eminem laid on the floor still. When
the teachers asked, they would lied and said he slipped on the ice.
What got Eminem out of those horrible bullying situations? It was
rapping. When he first started to rap, he found out that he was good
at it and hence got a little respect out of it. Bullies started to leave
him alone when Eminem showed off his talent. Until today, he is still
fighting for his respect and he felt like a fighter coming up.

Lady Gaga

Gaga was once thrown into a trashcan on the street by a group of boys she knew. The
girls from her school laughed at her while she was still in the trashcan, even Gaga was
laughing. She said she always has that nervous giggle. Behind her giggle, Gaga was
actually trying to hold back her tears and lip quivering. She wanted to hide herself and
get away from their attention but she couldnt. Everyone was staring at her and one of
the girls even said Are you about to cry? Youre pathetic. What was worse, thats
exactly what Gaga felt like. At the end, Gaga did not told her parents about it as she
thought it was too embarrassing.

Youre Pathetic
Gaga used to be called very horrible, profane names loudly in front of huge crowds of
people. The bullies called her fat and laughed at her appearance because-as she
recalled-she had a very big nose and overweight. At that point, Gaga was ashamed of

who she was. Like many bully victims, Gaga would go home and cry after the bullying.
She even made herself throw up and later on suffered from eating disorder.
Even at this point, Gaga, as a successful young lady who has made her dreams
come true, she still wonders if what the bullies said were true because when
certain things are said to you over and over again as youre growing up, it stays
with you. To all the bullies out there, do you see how much your words can hurt
now?

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence may have an incredible life in Hollywood where everybody loves her for her
laidback attitude and stunning looks, but she was actually a bully victim when she was younger.

Dont Worry about the B*tches

Lawrence might not be as popular back then she had the same attitude for her
bullying encounters as she has for life now. There was a time when Lawrence was
asked to hand out invitations to a girls birthday party which she wasnt invited to.
Instead of cry about it, Lawrence decided to spit on the invitations and threw them
into the trash can. If you were in Lawrences situation, would you do the same? Or
would you do as the bully said and hand out all the invitations then hoping the bully
would invite you? It is quite obvious that Lawrences act was a smarter move because
bullies would never truly befriend you right after they bully you and there is no point
of waiting for them to do so.
Moreover, we dont have to take all the mean things from them. Their orders
and behaviors mean nothing to you. Just like Lawrence said Dont worry about
the b*tches because you come across people like that throughout your life. As
much as we hate to think that its true, bullies, troublemakers are all waiting in
line to annoy us in our life. There is no way to avoid them so consider dealing
with your bullies as a practice for the future.

You can look at all these stories of celebrity being bullied and think about how sad they were, but this does
not solve the problem. The thing you need to do if you or your child is currently dealing with bullying is to
remember that the words or actions of the bully do not define you. Only you can choose what defines
you. These celebrities rose above the adversities they endured to become the outstanding actors,
musicians and other celebrities they are now.

Only You Can Defines You

Along with this it is also important to realize that just because someone may call you
a loser or you may feel like one because of what has happened, does not make it so.
Justin Timberlake was called a sissy for loving music and acting but these were what
made him wealthier than probably all of the people who said this to him and these
were what led him to his beautiful wife.
If you are experiencing bullying in any capacity, know
that this is not right and you do not have to take it.
Speak up and let someone know. Bringing this to the
light and dealing with it is the only way to make a
change. There is nothing to fear. There are teachers,
parents and other adults that are there to help you.
There are laws out there to protect you from bullying.
You just need to speak up and say something.

Getting teased and bullied often generate a certain amount of pressure or

negative energy. Many people bully victims fail to find a way to release this
pressure and end up doing things unwise, in the most extreme cases would be
commit suicide. Besides of seeking a way out of bullying, the discovery of ways
to transfer your negative energy is as important.
Phelps was suffered from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and was
put on medication for two years. Unable to focus in class, Phelps never achieved
well academically. Moreover, he was born with protruding ears which made him to
wear baseball hats all the time to conceal them. It was no use. The bullies swatted
his ears and made fun of them constantly. Although Phelps mother always told
him to be a stronger person and walk away he couldnt bear it and got
suspended from school for fighting.

Find Your Dedications

Before the situation got worse, Phelps found his lifetime dedication swimming. Since then, all his
negative energy was spent in the pool, making him the most dedicated swimmer in the Olympic team.
He might still being picked on on dry land but he knew no know would be able to catch him in the water.

Have you found your dedication yet? If you have, waste no time and devote your energy to it. The bullies
will never worth your time and attention. Seek your path and shine!

Make Brilliant Decisions

Spielberg describes himself as an outsider at school. He was never good at school or

sports, making him an easy target for the bullies. He recalled being bullied on a daily basis,
being shoved into the drinking fountain, being hurt violently during football games in
physical education and even being tossed a cherry bomb when Spielberg was sitting on the
toilet in the lavatory. Besides physical trauma, Spielberg also had to deal with emotional
ones. Spielberg was a Jewish who lived in a non-Jewish community. Spielberg would be
called dirty Jew and it made him to hide his Judaism for a long time.

You are who you are, even if you deny your identity. It was not a smart move for
Spielberg to deny his Judaism because you simply cannot convict others to respect
you when you are not pride of yourself. Spielberg later learnt this when he was
purchasing his film career. He found his talent at the age of 12 (when he started to
make his first movie) and he did not stop doing it since.
When Spielberg was making his first home-made film, he asked his bully to
play a heroic role. After a few times of rejection, the bully finally said yes and
he and Spielberg have become best friend at the end of the production.
Despites his young age, Spielberg dealt with him bully in a very mature way.
He did not hold grudge for long, instead, he saw the opportunity and change
their relationship. He is a pure genius. Are you also a genius waiting for the
opportunity to make brilliant decisions?

When we are being hurt by someone, be it physically or emotionally, we will

naturally have a negative feeling towards this person. If the situation continues, we
will inevitably consider this person as an enemy and holding grudges over him or
her. However, holding grudges is one of the worst feelings ever. It makes you
incapable of letting go and you will always be upset because of it.
In junior high, Swift was dumped by this group of popular girls because they
thought Swift was not cool enough and stop talking to her. It was because Swift
was into country music while all the kids at school were all into pop music. Who
would have thought the reason behind their broken friendship has made her one
of the richest singer-song-writers in the world. Despite being mocked for her
interest in country music, Swift did not hide her interest. Instead she kept working
on it and transferred her negative feelings into song writing. It was a very crucial

moment for her as she recalled if I hadnt come home from school miserable
every day, maybe I wouldnt have been so motivated to write songs.

Letting Go

A year after she scored her a record deal, Swift returned to perform in her high
school. She saw the bullies became her fans. They wore her T-shirts and asked for
her signature. Swift said it was bittersweet and that she started to realize they
had forgot about being mean to her and that she had to forget about it too.

Cruises family was constantly on move as his father needed to find new job and
sources to support the family. Cruise moved to 15 schools in 12 years. Due to
dyslexia, Cruise had difficulties academically. Plus being a kid who was small for his
size, he became an easy target for bullies.

Find Your Inspiration

So many times the big bully comes up, pushes me,
Cruise recalled. Your hearts pounding, you sweat, and
you feel like youre going to vomit. Im not the biggest
guy, I never liked hitting someone, but I know if I dont
hit that guy hard hes going to pick on me all year. I go,
You better fight. I just laid it down. I dont like bullies.
Bullied by your classmates and friends is not the worst thing that could happen to you when someone
from your family also join their side to bully you. That was exactly what happened to Cruise. Cruise
was bullied by his own father who, according to Cruise, was a coward and would beat him when
something went wrong. When domestic violence met bullying, an unpleasant childhood formed.
Fortunately, Cruise found strength and inspiration from his mother, who he says, rose to the
occasion, supporting the family on her own with three jobs. That was probably how Cruise survived
his childhood. Look around you, can you find anyone who can inspire you?
