Analysis of Assessment Data

As you can see, multiple methods of assessments were used to engage learners in their own
growth. To monitor learner progress, I used a rubric and quiz to determine the success of the 25

student-participants. The main audience involves 8th grade students in a Film and Animation
course. Based on the assessments data, the following were the results:

92% of the students participated in the unit summative assessments.

64% of the students met expectations on the project assessment.
80% of the participants passed the Cyber Community Citizenship Quiz.

Based on the assessment data, I believe that the Collaborative Unit on Digital Citizenship was
successful. The topic was selected because the collaborative teacher claimed that students needed
a better understanding of Digital Citizenship. She referred me to the district bought unit Cyber
Community Citizenship produced through ISafe. I used some of the resources and information
to create by ISafe, but for the most part, I created my own instructions.
There was one particular challenge that I faced during the unit process. I created the unit through
my Georgia Southern Google Drive. This organization drive only allows its own members to edit
and comment on Google Documents. Therefore, I had to embed Web 2.0 tools for discussion so
that all can participate. In the future, I will make sure that all individuals are able to view and
participate. Also I would make sure that all participants have been notified to bring a technology
device to classes. This is the reason that one participant was unable to complete a days activities.
Overall, I enjoyed collaborating with the Film and Animation teacher to increase students
knowledge on Digital Citizenship. I am very proud of the final products of the learners.
