1. PUBLIC COMMENT
Public comment will be taken during this agenda item. No action may be taken on a
matter raised under this item unless directed so by the Executive Board. Comments will
be limited to three minutes per person. Persons making comment will be asked to begin
by stating their name for the record, and if applicable, naming the organization, program,
or group they represent. The President may elect to allow additional public comment on a
specific agenda item when that agenda item is being considered.
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Request is made for approval of the following meeting minutes:

3. VOTE APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA


3a. Budget Update
Direct the IBC Treasurers Office to give an updated report on the current IBC budget.
3b. The Success Project
Direct the IBC to support Instagram projects for November 2015-January 2016.
3c. Administrative Finances
Direct the IBCP to discuss Extended Board finances in regards to E.O. 003 attire.
4. ADD, REMOVE, EDIT REGULAR AGENDA
Direct the IBC to add, remove, or edit the regular IBC meeting agenda.
5. RECOGNITION SESSION
5a. Recognize and appreciate outstanding IB students for the week of 11/15/15.
5b. Recognize IB volunteers from the NAIBWS Roundtable Conference on 11/14/15.
6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
6a. Office of the Historian Operations Regarding the IB Youtube Channel
Direct the IBC Historians Office and IBMYP IBC Advisor to update on the possibility
of creating an IB Youtube Channel this week in accordance with FERPA: Subpart D.
6b. IB Winter Gear Attire Merchandise
Direct the IBCP to give an updated report on the logistics on selling IB Winter Gear; the
creation of a Google Order Form with the IBCT, and the designing of the IB lanyards in
conjunction with the IBCH.
6c. Constitutional Revisions

Direct the IBC DP Advisor to edit the IBC constitution for immediate release onto the
IBC website in regards to recently approved Article VII, Section VII.
6d. CCSD Letter for Santa for Students Program
IBC Dr. Feinstein requests the IBC to sponsor a donation drive for December 2015.
7. NEW BUSINESS
7a. Vote on Presidential Commission on Oversight and Governing Reform
IBCP Catarata requests the grant of a Presidential Commission in light of recent filed
issues and reformation items from class representatives. (See Appendix A)
7b. IB Thanksgiving Food Drive Updates
Direct the IBCVP to update on the Thanksgiving Food Drive for November 2015.
7c. IB Program Fall Movie Night Committee Update
Direct the IBCVP to update on the upcoming Fall Movie Night on 11/24/15
7d. IBC Public Meeting Change For Week of 11/22/15.
Direct the IBCP to update the public on the new public meeting date change from
11/24/15 to 11/23/15 in accordance with program activities and council operations.
7e. IBC Pep Rally Table Fundraising Committee Update
Direct the IBCVP to update on the IBC Table at the VHS Pep Rally on 11/20/15.
7f. Select Committee on IB Class of 2016 Graduation Banquet
Direct all IBC Seniors to operate a select committee for End of the Year Banquet.
7g. IBC Calendar Updates
Direct the IBC Presidents Office to officially review the VHSIB Google Calendar.
8. COMMITTEE MEETINGS
Direct the IBC to receive official updates on the following standing committees:

9. PUBLIC COMMENT

10. IBC SUMMATIONS
Each IBC/Pentagon official will be given the opportunity to deliver a summation speech to the
assembling body, relevant to the meeting at hand or on announcements for the student body.

APPENDIX A. AGENDA ITEM: NEW BUSINESS, 7A.
The creation of the IBC Presidential Commission on Oversight and Governing Reform will be
successful through its objective statement:
The Valley High School IBC Presidential Commission on Oversight and Governing
Reform utilizes the powers and work of the IBC Class Representatives to further motion
the IBC Presidents Office to take action on urgent/important events that are brought up
from IB students throughout the program.
The objectives of the commission are as follows:

To grant the President responsible motive to carry out decisions that correspond with
urgent issues documented from the IBC Class Representatives.
To issue the Vice President the oversight to review the committees operations on a
weekly basis
To issue all other offices (Secretary, Treasurer, Class Representatives, Coordinators) the
participation to engage in active issues that are overseen at IBC Tuesday Weekly
Meetings.

As of 11/15/15, there are various issues that are brought into play. This was recently from two
assignments:

If voted and approved upon, the commissions chairman would be the President, and meetings
would be held on Thursdays, and/or Friday or Saturday evenings at the University of Las Vegas,
Nevada Lied Library Group Study Rooms.
