Oriental?
- There are SIX (6) Inter-Local Health Zones (ILHZ) in the Province of Negros
Oriental.
2. What are the Municipalities that composed the ILHZ?
- The municipalities that composed the ILHZ are:
> CVGLJ ILHZ. Five northernmost city and municipalities of:
Canlaon,Vallehermoso, Guihulngan, La Libertad and Jimalalud
> BinaTa ILHZ. Composes the towns of:
Bindoy, Ayungon and Tayasan
> MaMaBaTaPa ILHZ. Covers the central town and cities of:
Manjuyod, Mabinay, Bais, Tanjay and Pamplona
> ValeDaLanSaDaCongBulan ILHZ. Embraces the central towns of:
Valencia, Dauin, Amlan, San Jose, Dumaguete and Sibulan
> SiaZam ILHZ. Includes the towns of:
Siaton and Zamboangita
> StaBayaBas ILHZ. Three southernmost towns of:
Sta. Catalina, the city of Bayawan, and Basay

5. What is the role of the LGU such as the mayor and governor in the
function of the ILHZ?
An Expanded Provincial Health Board is created as the structure
for the implementation of the province-wide investment plan for health.
The Technical Working Group (TWG) shall have the following roles
and functions:
1. Responsible for the operationalization of the Five Year Provincial
Health Investment Plan;
2. Maintenance of the existing management structure;
3. Recommend to the Local Health Board strategies to ensure the smooth
implementation of the plan; and
4. Conduct monitoring and review of Plan implementation
