TASK FORCE TEAM

The President has appointed you to the Natural Disaster Task Force. You are to
research a chosen disaster. You need to be an EXPERT on your topic and all of the
regions in the world affected by it. You will need data (hard facts) as well as,
primary personal accounts from people involved in the natural disasters. Be
prepared to share your findings with the President.

Your Objective for this mission:

To explore how Science and Technology has improved people's lives in terms of
predicting natural disasters, communicating warnings of impending natural
disasters, and the potential risks to human life and property. To also explore how
current systems in place could improve to warn people of natural disasters as they
are known. To also explore, rescue, and rebuilding efforts that have occurred and
what other things we could do. To evaluate the consequences of natural disasters
and how we could possibly lessen the negative impact they have on our environment,
through better communication.
