Dear Sir/Madam:

This letter is in support of Andrea Klein as a candidate for the Cardiac Health Foundation
of Canada Fitness Scholarship. Andrea was a student of mine in the Fitness and Health
Promotion Program at Conestoga College from 2012-2014 and as such, gained a broad
knowledge base in fitness and health related curriculum. She successfully completed all
course requirements with excellent marks and graduated with an overall GPA of 3.93.
The Fitness and Health Promotion Program curriculum emphasizes exercise science
concepts necessary for working with individuals and groups to assist them in leading
healthier lifestyles while valuing the many dimensions which contribute to health and
well-being. Andrea demonstrated a strong aptitude for analytical thinking and
continually attempted to apply what she learned in the classroom in her everyday life.
Andrea was a conscientious student who consistently submitted high quality work. She
had strong written communication skills and contributed wholeheartedly to group
projects. Andrea was happy to assist fellow classmates and was a valued member in the
classroom. Her strong academic record is a result of a sound work ethic and enthusiasm
for learning which is reflected in her desire to further her education in the Kinesiology
program at Guelph-Humber.
Should you require additional insight into Andreas abilities or would like discuss the
program curriculum please feel free to contact me via email at
estevens@conestogac.on.ca or by phone at 519-748-5220 ext. 2364.
Regards,

Elissa Stevens, MSc.
