Issues with the Sale of goods actThere are several issues relating to the sales of goods act.

A few of them
are listed belowi)

First of all, there are two acts governing the sale- Sale of Goods
act and the transfer of property act. The former governs the sale
relating to goods, that are movable . and the latter governs the
sale of immoveable property. Two Acts for solving a purpose of

sale makes the work a bit more hectic.


Now, when the trade of goods inside the country is undertaken,
the Sale of good act applies to it. But when the question of
trading between two countries comes into question, different
technicalities arise. For eg- the meaning of the term goods
under the Indian act and the same under

the English law is

different. The question arises of what needs to be taken into

consideration.
Another Important issue that needs to be tackled is, the goods of
various countries carry certain quality certificates of that
particular country. Now the quality standards of each country are
different. Some goods may be supreme quality in one country
and in the other they may be of a really poor quality. The Sale of
good act fails to focus on the same.
