EMPLOYEMENT
Im a fourth year kinesiology student at the University of Guelph Humber. I have experience as a leader with
multiple volunteer involvements, a high knowledge of computers and many organization qualities. I enjoy
furthering my education by learning new things quickly and efficiently, and in the future I would like to
pursue a career in Physiotherapy.

Provided post surgical patients learn and practice their rehab protocol
Helped maintain the flow of the clinic by booking appointments, pulling up x-ray and MRIs for the
surgeon to assess, and do initial assessments with new patients
Assisted the surgeon in writing a research article partaking to his specific ACL protocol
recommendations after an ACL surgery
Helped both on the onsite chiropractor and physiotherapist with tasks around the office
Provided care to patients such as instructing rehabilitation exercises and providing them with take home
workouts to better their care
Read and reviewed many articles on controversial topics in health (such as C-sections and vaccinations)
and summarized them for the general public to understand the science behind the debates
Assisted with front desk duties such as operating the scheduling and payment system, organizing
patient files, and maintaining the clinics environment
Created a six step rehab program for Maximized Health to maintain patients process through an exercise
program that catered to their specific ailment which is still used in the clinic today

Planed outlines and proposals for all the varsity home games and events throughout the year
Implemented new and exciting ways to keep fans returning to the games each day
Created more interactive games that can be completed throughout the year at both our indoor and
outdoor games
Created game days descriptions and scripts for all the staf during the year
Lead and organize meetings with staf and diferent full time staf around the college
Organized and promoted SAAs fan club Hawks Nation around the college and at home games
Selected contestants from the crowd to participate in half time shows while giving clear instructions
about the game and having waiver forms signed in a short amount of time
Gave noise makers and small prizes to the crowd throughout the game
Set up and tear down the Hawks Nation table where promotion products were displayed
Worked as a co-op student for one semester shadowing the physiotherapist, making hot packs and
assisting him in stretching instructions
Instructed patients and communicated injuries to the physiotherapist while being professional and
knowledgeable
Assistant coach and volunteer for the Special Olympics Ontario for basketball and softball
OOYA (Ontario Olympic Youth Academy) participant (leadership conference based on amateur sports
and the Olympics; held at Laurier University)
CLAY (Continuing Leadership Among Youth) participant (leadership conference based on teaching and
being yourself; held at McMaster University)
SLAM (Student Leaders Accessing Mentors) a club for one to two students from each school who get
together from the entire Halton Catholic Board to talk about issues in our schools that we can change or
improve upon.
Involved at the best buddies program at high school, which helps out the special needs students during
lunch and field trips
Completed two high school leadership courses both with over 80 averages
