Individual Political/Economical Map

Location: Paris, France

I chose to do this assignment on Paris because of its rich culture and powerful
historical background. France has been recognized as a first world country for
decades, and is known for its royalty. I predict that France would have a strong gross
national income per capita.

REGIONAL MAP: Paris, France (Gross National Income Per Capita)

LOCAL MAP: Paris, France (Gross National Income Per

Capita)

High gross national income per capita occurs in areas that are associated with
countries that had a more advanced infrastructure in the medieval time period.
These countries were rich and had a more advanced trade system, making them
able to travel distances and conquer, bringing in more goods to their countries.
Places that these issues are not occurring will be those that are less advanced, and
drained of its resources by the colonies. I do not think that this is a severe cultural
problem because as technology advances, new countries are going to rise up in
ranks as they would start to have higher national income per capita in the future. I
believe that the Western European nations have a stronger economy than their
Eastern European counterparts because they were able to colonize and receive
resources from the countries of their discovery.
