To the Graduate Admissions Committee:

It is my pleasure to recommend Taylor Blackburn for admissions into our accelerated
masters program here in Educational Psychology at UNT. From my various past experiences
with Taylor, it is apparent that she is a dedicated, hardworking, and considerate individual who
has always excelled in the past and will continue to do so both professionally and personally.
Over the past few semesters, I have had the pleasure of having Taylor in almost every
class that I have taught here and she has been an absolute delight to have in each of those classes.
Taylor is a highly organized, charismatics, and intelligent individual and it is clear that she has a
strong drive to further her education. She is the kind of student that anyone would want in his/her
class and from her class experiences, it is evident that Taylor is truly interested in increasing her
understanding, whether it is regarding her education, career opportunities, child development,
family life, etc. Taylor is also an excellent role model as a student, often contributing insightful
comments/experiences in class as well as completing her work with creativity. I always know
that Taylor will produce high quality work and her questions only serve to reinforce that she is
interested in performing at a higher standard than most rather than just skirting by with an
average grade. On top of her excellent grades, Taylor is simply a pleasant and respectful person
to talk with and listen to. Part of what makes Taylor such a delightful individual to have in class
is her personality. I know that she is always ready and willing to offer feedback and insight into
whatever it is that we are discussing. Taylor is an excellent student for our program because not
only is she a great representative of the EPSY degree, but she is also a fabulous representative of
the university. I am confident that she will graduate with the highest honors and will go on to be
incredibly successful in both graduate school and her professional life.
Taylor is thoughtful, intelligent, and has a strong desire to learn, and those qualities make
it a delight to work with her. I am certain that her diligence and drive in her field of study, along
with her current progress and success, will assure her of many more achievements in her future
pursuits. It is without reservation that I provide Taylor with my recommendation for acceptance
into our program as I am confident that she will be an excellent addition and contribution to our
graduate program.
Sincerely,
