LESSON OUTCOME: [KC3][KC1][T][C][KC5][KC6]
Students should be able to learn simple rules in Photoshop that help them with production.
These skills will eventually build a base of knowledge to set them up for senior years. (because
of class problems teachers are to follow individual students around in a one on one
environment helping them complete tasks separately.) In this lesson we will focus on stencil
graffiti. Once the stencil has been pasted onto wall image we may introduce it to be cut out
with the laser printer in wood.

Main Content:

Students have to follow the instruction of the teacher in

the introduction and the manipulation of images in
Adobe Photoshop. This is essentially a step in both
memory and storage as the children are brought before
a crossroad, an open pallet and have to remember a
unique set of skills relevant to each learning outcome.
The image must be moved from Photoshop to 2d design
where the students can make their own stencil cut out.

LINK TO DEVELOPMENT
2.
When students design they draw on a wide spectrum of thinking and creative capacities to
plan, generate, synthesise and realise ideas. [KC1] [KC3] [KC6] . Adobe Photoshop and 2d draw
help these students realize their ideas and build real world skills in the process. A zone of proximal
development must be established with the children in order to maintain steady growth.

REFLECTION on development
Although zone of proximal development maintained there seems to be inadequate staff for
teaching requirements. The time limit per child is restricted and must be addressed.
