Drum Fills
Lesson #1

Finally we get to explore more of our drum set...get those arms moving around your kit!
These first drum fills are very basic...they are intended to get you used to playing a simple rock beat
and then a drum fill followed by a crash hit. This is very typical of what is played in most
music...rythm...drum fill...crash.

Let's start with a snare drum fill - yes you don't have to use tom-tom for all drum fills!

Yet another snare drum fill...

Let's add some cymbal crashes to get those arms moving - this snare drum and crash fill involves a little syncopation so go
with the flow...

Watch which hands to use on this snare/tom-tom drum fill - you'll need to be fast with your left hand to accomplish this fill
