Hook/Lead-In/Anticipatory Set
Before I start this activity I would show students picture
of the three different types of clouds and have them talk
to me about the differences they see.
Big Idea Statement
There are different types of clouds.
Clouds influence the weather and our surrounding

Students are able to identify the three types of clouds,
draw them and act like them threw movement.

Act like a cloud and float from spot to spot.

I will have students draw a picture showing as many
different types of weather that they can think of.

Show them the dance that each cloud does.

helping individuals by motivating them to do the dance

Summary & Review of the Learning

Students will then be placed into groups of 3 and create a story about
the clouds. The story must include all three clouds. All of the group
members must be included in the story doing something while the
weather is occurring or being one of the clouds each. A title picture
should be included an include all three types of clouds.

Students will keep a three-day journal where they write
about the clouds for three straight days and how its
affecting things around them. (Ex. Very cloudy, the sun
isnt shining through at all)
