Anticipated problems and solutions
I will bring extra exercises (printed them out) to work in the classroom.
I will bring the book for the class, just in case the computer does not work;
I will be able to use the book and go through it using a projector.
If there is one student absent, I will assign a group of three.
Unexpected Issues in the classroom
I did not use one of the videos.
For the second activity: Students took extra time.
At first, the students did not understand the given instructions in the target
language. For this reason I chose to talk in English to clarify meanings and
directions.
During the second activity, I noticed that my students needed to review
the vocabulary about descriptions and feelings from lesson 5. For this
reason, I extended the time for the oral activity and to not exclude anyone
in the classroom.
One more issue, I was unable to open a picture from the book on the
internet. I decided to use the book and the projector.
For this reason I could not complete what I planned for this day. I had an
extra practice (hand out) to work together. Lesson 5.4
