IarguethattheconsistentthemespresentinthemajorityofInstagramaccountssuggestan
underlyingculturalfantasytheme:thedesiretoprojectoneselfaslivingaperpetually
pictureperfectlife.DeployingfantasythemecriticismandcrosstextualanalysisIwillanalyze
howthesatiricalInstagramaccount@socalitybarbiecriquestheinauthenticityofthiscultural
trend,#socalityasoneofthemainobjectsofthisaccountscritique,andtwoWiredarticles
