jellyBeanFractions.jsp
This website offers a specific lesson plan that teaches 2nd grade students fractions with jelly
beans. The website offers materials needed, the actual lesson plan and also provides a
guided/independent activity that follows the jelly bean activity. I found this website and lesson
interesting because it provided a fun way to learn about fractions instead of a plain worksheet.

article in the future to prevent my students from developing math anxiety.

Internet4classrooms allows a student or teacher to engage in interactive activities based on an
objective, grade and subject. I would use this website in my classroom to allow students to get
extra practice on the specific objectives I see them struggling with. This website can be used in
the classroom or at home.
http://www.spellingcity.com/student-spelling-practice.html
This website is a fun way for students to practice learning their vocabulary words. In the future
when I become a teacher I can upload my vocabulary list along with the definitions and students
can log onto the website to make flashcards or play games that help them practice the words. I
found this website interesting because when I was in school the only way we practiced our
vocabulary words was writing them multiple times or by writing sentences.

This website offers lists of educational apps based on subjects and grades. Appitic is helpful
because all of the educational apps listed contain reviews that can be read by both the teachers
and parents to ensure that they are choosing the most beneficial apps. Once the apps are
downloaded the students can use them to practice core skills in fun ways.

independent practice purposes.
