In Somayaga Ritual Aajya to Agnimaruta is called as Agnistoma where 12 shastras are chanted along

with 12 samans. In Agnistoma Somayaga the main rituals are Diksha(1 day) , Upasat (3 days), Sutya (1
day pressing of Soma) which becomes the the Ekaha category of performing Somayaga

Fifth day of Sacrifice Soma juice is pressed three times of the day, ie. in morning,afternoon
and evening. Every time soma is pressed (the process is called Somabhiava), filled in various
vessels like - camasa, graha, etc., and then offered in the sacrifice.
The yajamna, tvija, the other participants and the spectators go to a nearby lake, pond,
stream or river where all the Yajna vessels are immersed in the water
all their belongings they have used during the soma sacrifice, including their ornaments and
precious clothes to be sacrificedor given to Rtvija.
