Box game

Level:
This activity is appropriate for grade one about six years old.
Justification:
This game is about student will say what in this box. I chose this game
because as Vygotsky said "play is important to develop children thinking".
(Play: The Work of Lev Vygotsky, 2015).Also, I chose it because it easy and it
helps students to talk. Also, it fun game and it helps students to change their
moods. Also, it helps teacher to know ability of their students. Also, it's a
good start for students to improve their speaking skills because it simple
only student will say words. The general purpose of this activity teacher
wants all students to talk and guess what in this box. Teacher will know if
students understand or not when she saw all student answer and talk. Also,
class will be more active. In addition, this game helps students to improve
their thinking and Imagination through guess what in the box for example,
teacher said it's big and live in the zoo students will know it animal and start
to guess which animal big they will say words like ( lion , bears and another).
This activity integrated with other skills like thinking when students think to
answer. Also, when students memorize animals live in the zoo. It's integrated
with listening skills because when teacher say interaction students will listen
carefully to know what in the box. Also, it's integrated with communication
skills if teacher said discuss with your group to answer what in the box.
Objectives:
Through this activity students will:

Able to imagine what in the box.


Able to say animal names.

Purpose:

Listen and concentrate what teacher say to guess and say what in the
box.
Say words or short sentences.

Instructions:
First, teacher put one animal toy or picture in the box
then ask students to guess and imagine what in this box
after that, she said helps words for students for example,
this animal live in the zoo and it's big and it's eat meat
then students start to think about all animals are big in
the zoo . Students start to say names like Bear, Tiger,
Snake, and Crocodile then teacher said yes or no. If
students do not know this animal teacher give them
another helps she said the first letter of this animal like
she said the first letter is L then students will say all
animals start with this letter then students said lion and teacher said Ok
know will see if it right or wrong. After that, teacher opens the box to show
what in it then teacher take the lion and show them and said yes its right.
Suggestion to use: teacher uses to introduce the lesson for example, teacher
put the letter in the box or put things start with this letter in the box and ask
students to guess. Teacher uses like warmer activity to engage students.

Guessing game
Level:
This activity is appropriate for grade two about seven years old.
Justification:
This game is about student will guess what is right picture and say the
number of it. I chose this game for this grade because they able to say
sentences. In this game students will improve their thinking, teamwork and
sportsmanship. (Stathakis, 2015)It helps them to improve their speaking
skills. Students like this game because it changes their routine in the class
and they can talk with their friends during it. It helps students to improve
their relationships with their friends. Its simple game for this grade because
it has pictures and colors. Students like when teacher use different activities
to provide speaking lesson. Also, at this age students can say different words
and they know numbers very much. The general purposes of this activity its
to learn different kinds of foods. Also, students will distinguish between
pictures. This activity improving speaking skills for students because they
will talk for example, each student will have pictures one student will
describe what she/he has another student will search about this picture and
say number. This activity integrated with other skills like thinking skills when
students will start to think about which pictures her/his friend talk about it.
Also, this activity can be integrated with listening skills for example, students
will concentrate what her/his friend say and listen to know the answer. In
addition its integrated with communication skills for example, teacher asks
students to play this game with her/his friend. Also, its integrated with
reading skills for example, students will read the words under the pictures to
say what they have.

Objectives:
Through this activity students will:

Able to say simple and short sentences.


Able to distinguish between the words and pictures.
Able to say different kinds of foods.

Purposes:

Describe the pictures and say what in it.


Concentrate what other students say to say the number of these
pictures.

Instruction:
First, teacher gives each pairs one sheet and in this sheet have six pictures
about foods ,then she asks them one student say and describe the pictures
and another one say the numbers of these pictures. Teacher will show them
example to know. She will put picture in the
board and she said I have a beef burger,
milk and pizza then ask one student to
answer she/he search to what teacher say
then she/he said its number three. After
that, teacher gives students time to finish
it. Its not has right or wrong answer its
depend what students say. Suggestion to
use: teacher gives students cards and ask
them to say what you get for example,
teacher ask one student to say and describe what in this card.

Level:
This activity is appropriate for grade three about eight years old.
Justification:
This activity is about students will say wheres the place. I chose this activity
for this grade because students at this age develop more than other ages.
Also, its good activity for this grade because students can say sentences to
describe things. It helps students to know how describe the place for
someone if they ask them. At this grade they know names of places. The
general purposes of this activity its to learn places and students will learn
prepositions. This activity improve speaking skills because all students will
get chance to answer. This activity integrated with other skills like thinking
skills for example, students will think where is the place. Also, its integrated
with listening skills for example; students will listen to question to answer.
Also, this activity integrated with communication skills like the teacher asks
students to discuss with other students. According to Vygotsky said children
can build active learning communication through small group. (Neff)

Say long sentences.

Instructions:
First, teacher will give students instruction to follow it. Teacher put picture in
the board and asks students wheres the hospital? Then students
concentrate and search about it after that, students find the place and start
to describe the place then teacher give each peer one picture and ask one
student to say question and other students will describe the place.
Suggestion to use: teacher gives students worksheet and ask them about
wheres the bank?

Choose one and talk


Level:
This activity is appropriate for grade four about nine years old.
Justification:
This activity is about to choose one card and talk about it. I chose this
activity for this grade because its more challenge for them and they can say
long sentences. Also, in this activity they will be able to discuss more than
other ages. It helps students to share their ideas. In addition students can
build self-steam and they feel confident. The general purposes of this activity
student will say their opinion about these subjects and students will get
information. This activity improves speaking skills for students because at
this activity students will say what they think about these subjects. This
activity can be integrated with other skills like thinking skills when students
start to think about these subjects. Also, its integrated with communication
skills when students share their ideas. I think its integrated with writing skills
because some students will start to write their ideas in the paper.

Instructions:
First, teacher asks each leader of the group to come to choose one card. At
each card has one subject then teacher asks students to discuss this subject
with their group. Also, she asks them to write notes or read in their books
then teacher said after ten minutes will discuss together. It is essential that
the speaking should be equally divided among group members ". (Kayi, 2006)
Suggestion to use: teacher gives each student writing sheet and ask them to
write for choose one subject and write about it.
