It is my pleasure to recommendMs.DoraCasimirforanelementaryteacherposition.Ihavehad
the pleasure of knowing Dora for 2.5 years both professionally andpersonally.ImetherwhenI
enrolled my 2 month old daughterintotheYMCAEarlyChildhoodCenter andshewasworking
as an Assistant Teacher. My sonwas2yearsoldatthetime. Iquicklyrealizedwhatanamazing
caregiversheisandinvitedhertohelpmecareformychildrenontheweekends.

At the YMCA, Dora was a primary caregiver for three infants at a giventime. WhenIfirstmet
her, I quickly saw how caring, calm and patient she is. She has the excellent ability to work
under pressure and multitask while ensuring that each child is given thecareandattentionheor
she needs.Itwasclear that sheworkedtobuildstrongrelationshipswithallofthechildreninher
care. On topofmaintaininga writtendailyrecordforeachchild,shemadesuretotaketimeeach
evening to talk toeachparentabouthis/herchildsday.Shewasalwaysopentoany questionsor
concerns we had. She ensured that I felt involved in my childs care even when I wasnt there.
Later, as my children grew into older rooms, Dora would rotate through occasionally. It was
obvious she was thepreferredcaregiver:shecouldcoverany room,becausesheisgreatworking
withkidsofallagesandabilities.

On the weekends, Dora will still occasionally care for my 2.5 year old daughter and my 5 year
old son. She teaches them, guides them, and cares for them insuchanurturingandgentleway.
We are extremely lucky to have found such a quality person and knowledgeable educator! Her
brothers are 10 years younger, so she really has been teaching for over a decade already!
Teaching young children comesnaturallytoheritsherniche. Iwouldbethrilledtohaveeither
ofmychildreninherclassroom.

Dora has the knowledge, skills, and character for this position. She isanoutstandingteacher. I
