The presidential election in 1920 was dominated by
the first World War. The war decided most of the
presidential and political decisions. Booze was illegal
in all senses no making, drinking, selling, or owning of
alcohol was allowed. Reduction in taxes was talked
about.

During the 1920s the Industrial Revolution happened and the Americans were
full of hope and dream of the future. It was great time to be rich and the
parties were on, which meant the increase of alcohols.
