I observed many qualities the charge nurse


had were the same as mine. She was very
organized, approachable, likeable, & had
strong conflict management skills.

While shadowing the charge nurse I


validated my feelings of needing
improvement in my conflict management

Activity

Strengths:

Attending an ACLS class enhanced my


knowledge on the subject tremendously. I feel
that by attending this class I was better prepared
for my intense preceptorship in the Emergency
Department (ED).

Areas of Opportunity:

Upon completion of the class & hands on training


I realized that I needed to continue practicing
this skill if even in a skill lab setting in order to
solidify the new skill.
