Observed activity inside the Creighton Dialysis Clinic for 8 hours while shadowing Danette Gupte, RD.
Learned about proper dialysis care, important lab values to monitor, and food/drug interactions.
Witnessed patient counseling techniques, such as motivational interviewing and active listening that successfully
helped patients.
Foodservice Clinical Hours

Spent 25 hours in the Wood County Committee on Aging production Kitchen and 25 hours at the Carillon BGSU
dining facility.
Assisted in main line food prep, bakery, dishwashing, receiving and storage, packaging, delivery.
Prepared and served congregate meals to seniors at the WCCOA.
