AIMS
The main aims of this lesson are to:
1. Introduce myself to the class and get to know the students. Have a
class activity for me to get to know the students names and try and

2. Remind the students of class room rules and routines as well as
practicing them for the very start. Even if meaning having to re-do
certain tasks. (E.g. entering the class room, distributing tools and
equipment etc.)
3. Introduce the students to the project. (Sample joint). Generate
class discussion about the new project and gather student thoughts

about the projects and promote students confidence to create a


positive mind set for students to work with.
4. Get all students to mark out the sample joint (Pins only)
