I would like to recommend Kayla Brown as a candidate for a nursing position with your
organization.
I feel I can vouch for her personal character because I have known Kayla from birth to
present, and she has grown in front of my eyes from a child to a very responsible young
woman. She is the grand-daughter of a dear friend, and I have also worked with her at St
Joseph Mercy Chelsea. I also was privileged to be her preceptor in the final semester of
nursing school.
Kayla has worked at St Joseph Mercy Chelsea for several years, and has worked as a
nursing assistant for the past couple years. In her capacity as a nursing assistant she has
been sent to the Intensive Care Unit to assist us when we have needed help. She has
never shied away from work, and is always looking for something to do if she is not busy.
She is also very willing to help other team members.
She is very compassionate and respectful when she is working with her patients. She is
also vey confidential in her dealings with patients. As her preceptor I found her very
eager to take on the difficult patients so she could increase her knowledge base. She
never went above the boundaries that were set for her.
I truly feel that Kayla will be an asset to any employer and I highly recommend her for
