encourage quality
patient outcomes. I
feel like one can learn
a lot from your
coworkers through
working on a team. As
a Japanese proverb
states:
None of us is as
smart as all of us.
(Quann, 2011)
Putting yourself in the
patient shoe: Page 209
of the book
highlighted the fact
that
No one is ever at her
best when she does not
feel well. The fears of
the unknown, fear of
dying, and fear of pain
all create a tremendous
sense of discomfort
How you cope with
their behavior and
issues and react to
them affects the
healthcare delivery
process. (Quann,
2011). I truly, feel this
way when I am caring
for my patient. I
always want to treat
people just the way I
would want to be
treated
Exposure to

think I will need

improvement when it comes
to my delegations skills
because I always feel I am
being a burden to the person
I delegate to and often dont
feel comfortable delegating
Time management:
The book on (page, 149)
urges us to use a timer for
best time management
outcomes. If possible,
have a mobile device, cell
phone (If allowed to be on),
or timer on your watch, set
it for the timed events. If
not, keep a mental note
and frequently check your
watch.
(Quann, 2011). I think when
it comes to time
management I will need to
improve my skills to enable
me care for my patient on a
timely manner
