Interview questions:
1. Why did motivate you to being part of the ANS club?
I wanted to be part of the ANS club to help me with school and to have the opportunity of
being part of a nursing organization.
2. What do you normally use to communicate with the ANS club? (Email, meetings, web
page, etc.)
We use emails and meetings for the ANS club.
3. What is your main goal in the ANS club?
My main goal is to help out with as much volunteer opportunities as I can.
4. Which one do you think is the main goal of the ANS club?
To get pre-nursing students involved and ready for upper division nursing.
5. What activities do you realize inside of the ANS club? (Events, volunteer activities, trips,
etc.)
We do volunteer activities.
6. What are the requirements needed to be part of the ANS club?
You need to pay five dollars, be in the university pre-nursing program, volunteer for at
least 2 things and donate one thing.
7. How is your personal experience within the ANS club? Is it good or bad? Why?
I love the ANS club so far, it has answered a lot of questions I've had and helped me
reassure myself that nursing is what I want to do.
8. For how long have you been joining the NAS club? Why?
I've been in the ANS club for only half a semester because I'm a freshman.
9. How often do you meet with the ANS club?

We meet once every month.

10. Do you motivate other people that are not part of the ANS club to star join it?
I have, my classmates.
11. What are some specific words that are use within the ANS club?
J2 and J1 which means junior year first and second semester, and S1 and S2 which means
senior year first semester and second semester.
12. Do you consider yourself an expertise within the ANS group? Why or why not?
No, because I've only been part of the ANS club for a little amount of time.
Reflection:
I think this interview was really helpful in a certain way. It helped me to clarify some daubs that
I had, such as the exact requirements of the club. Also, it was a different experience compare to
others that I had before in other classes, because I never had the opportunity to make an
interview in my second language. To be honest, I think this research is a good opportunity to
learn as an outsider about another group that I didnt use to know before.
The process of the interview was really comfortable, because I already had my questions written
down and I can tell that the interviewee was comfortable too, because she understood every
question that I asked and also she answered really fast every of them.
From the interview I gained a lot of information that I didnt get from the observation such as her
main goal within the group, what did motivate her to be part of the group, her personal
experience within the group, for how long she has been joining the club, and as I said in the
above the exact requirements of the club.
