Online Portfolio Summary

Purpose
As part of my unit 3 coursework, I will be creating an online portfolio that will present all of my work from year 10. I will be applying for a job at Konnekted and I
have to show them what Im able to do and also my ICT skills.
It will include 9 pages for my portfolio and the portfolio has been designed to show
the best pieces of work that I created in ICT.
My target audience will be my potential employers at Konnekted and I will be aiming to impress them with my ICT skills.

1. Page one will be where I introduce myself (CV) and discuss my GCSEs, work

experience, schooling etc. This will be done so that my possible employer has a
better idea of who I am, the qualifications I have and if I am a good fit for the
job.
2. Page two will be focused on my unit 13 (website creating) introduction and how

I began to plan it. This will help to show useful skills and give my possible employer an idea of what I can do.
3. Page three will talk about how I planned out my unit 13 task (website creating)

and what I did in order to plan, it will again show my skills and also show how I
plan and prepare.
4. Page four will discuss the implementation of building the website by mention-

ing the software used, how it was used, what it was used for and the overall
use of the website.
5. Page five will be about the peer evaluation and my evaluation on the finished

website, may also include the improvements made to the website after I received the peer and self-evaluations.
6. Page six will introduce what I will be doing in Unit 1.
7. Page seven will talk about unit 1, learning aim A which was online service, ad-

vertisements, cloud computing etc.

8. Page eight will cover unit 1, learning aim B which is about www, emails, the

internet etc.
9. Page nine will focus on unit 1, learning aim C which talks about internet safety,

viruses, protections etc.

Education & Qualifications
Date:
I attend St. Marys CofE High School. My (predicted) GCSE results are As
throughout accept in Math which is a B grade. I have had work experience in
two work placements, being a Nursery which proved me with first aid and
food hygiene knowledge and also in a ICT consultant position where I have
learned relative information for this job.
Work Experience
Date: 2013 - present
As said before I have had work experience in two different work environments, those being a nursery and as a personal assistant for an ICT consultant. Working at the nursery I have been proved with both first aid and food
hygiene knowledge as I had to assist the staff by helping make the snacks,
take the children into the garden and help to pack away equipment and
make sure it was sanitised properly. While being a PA I was taught how to
correctly use certain adobe programs and also it help improve my social and
communication skills, as I would regularly be taken into London for big
events/meetings. Both experiences also helped me gain more independence
as I was relied on and trusted to complete specific tasks set by my employers.
Skills
I have recently become very well acquainted with Adobe Photoshop as I use
it in order to edit any pictures I may take; I have become quite skilled with
using it. I can work easily in both a group and individually and, if I think that
the group I am working with has no targets or anyone to help lead them I will
normally step forward and offer up ideas. However I also work well alone as I
tend to be able to just get on with the work with no interruptions. I enjoy
listening to people talk, and if anyone ever has a problem I always listen and
offer advice or a way to make their situation easier.
Interests & Activities
I am interested in writing, reading, psychology and creating images (photography and on a computer). All of which can be applied to most jobs no matter what the situation or job.
