Although, these are critical issues that may cause damage to the source of
fresh water and production limitations, creating small states within small
islands remains a helpful improvements among a sustainable development.
Achime Steiner, executive director of the United Nations Environment
Programe, elaborates that there is a wealth of opportunities that can greatly
improve a transition into a green economy. Pollution has been a serious
issues over the years in many countries. In reference to The Office of the
High Representatives for the Least Developed Countries, the purpose of
creating this development is to develop information systems and baseline
data that will manage waste and pollution control. Using the appropriate
actions and standards will actually strengthen the management of fresh
water resources as well. The procedures to monitor and respond to the
impacts of water resources will strengthen reducing the competing demands
of limited water resources. These small states will also create international
communities that will increase the cultural diversity which creates broader
educational opportunities. Small islands developing states will create an
expansion of diversity that will become a great benefit to improving
resources for the economy and environment.
In conclusion, developing small states inside of islands benefits the
strategies to protect and develop traditional knowledge, and promote human
and environmental abilities at a national and regional level. This
development also expands into a great warning system during natural
disasters that will improve, support, and prepare local communities before
disaster events. Although developing these small states comes with various
cautions, there are sources and opportunities that will reduce those hazards.
The process of developing a source that will improve and benefit the
environment and economy will create a great transformation into a better
world or diversity.
