Goals for the period (what do you want students to walk away with?)

By the end of the class I want the students to understand what is expected of them for the poetry memorization project. They will
also know which strategies they can choose from in order to successfully learn a poem (or anything else by heart).
I will know they can do this when they come up with a list of strategies that they could use and choose at least one they will use
and hand in their exit card with their choice at the end of the period.
