Comments: I was new to teaching literacy and this age group. I

really enjoyed watching how eager they were to learn, and how they
learn and use new tools and strategies.
I used the first few days of my field experience to observe and watch
Miss. Kortas work with her students. I enjoyed how she used her
resources, and understood how her students learned best.
When it became time to plan my own lesson, I went to Miss. Kortas

they really know. In my lesson specifically, I asked about different rhyming
words that werent given to see if they could use their skills to rhyme.
