Note though that there

are meetings with your
client at various stages

What is it all about?

Having successfully pitched an idea for an advert, your client has now commissioned you to
produce the piece.
Your first job is to build on the production research you have already carried out, developing the
appropriate pre-production paperwork. All this should be uploaded to your webpage ready for the
first formal meeting with your client.
Once you are green lit for production, you will shoot the appropriate footage and carry out sound
recordings, keeping a detailed field log.
In post-production, your client will want to see a rough cut of the advert for approval this must
be ready for the second client meeting.
Once you have reviewed and discussed the rough cut, produce a final edit ready for a
test screening. You will be expected to collect comments from your target audience at this point.
A final stage is to evaluate the effectiveness of your advert by reflecting on all the work you have
done and deciding how well your finished product measures up.
