Reflection:
Matrices are important to do because they help teachers design a lesson plan, while making sure each plan is relevant,
important and meeting standards. They serve as an outline to help teachers to effectively use available technology in the
classrooms. Students also have some freedom when using technology to learn because, in this digital age, students get to use
mediums they enjoy using to display learning. The matrices also help teachers stay on track when using technology because
each piece is written down before them. It is also vital that students have a sense of responsibility when using technology and
matrices promote that sense of responsibility and learning. Matrices also allow teachers to make connections between each
lesson plan, while promoting something different in each. No two lessons are the same and no two share the same teaching
method, which is effective for teaching students making standards.
Storybird Reflection:
This storybird matrix would serve a duel purpose for students. While students would be putting each state standard to
understanding and explaining they would also be incorporating their understanding of copyright and fair use. All of the topics
covered would encourage student learning while also teaching students the proper way to give credit for work that isnt their
own. The storybird would allow students to present new information in a creative and unique way while also promoting
technological advancements. Students would also be allowed and encouraged to explore their peers storybirds to gain new
perspective on similar lessons. Much of the lessons would utilize outside of class time so class time could be used to understand
copyright and fair use rules as to protect students work while also allowing students to learn the appropriate way to give credit.

Mobile Learning Reflection:

Before further research, I was unware of the many different mediums of mobile learning options. Mobile learning provides
students some freedom when it comes to their education. They are able to search things in their own way and at their own pace,
which would promote engagement. Students would also be able to learn in a completely different way, helping them remember
their learned lessons. If a student were to take notes about (for example) a food web and food chain or watch a crazy video with
different animals fighting they would more likely remember the video, which would also be more fun to present. The number of
lesson plans seems endless for mobile learning. With my experiences, I feel that students would respond best to mobile learning.
Students would also be able to engage in more learning, because as questions arose, they could simply employ their mobile
learning devices to answer their own questions. While all of their work, questions, and research could be saved to one place.
