Middle School General Music World Music: Geronimos Song


Grade Level: 7th Grade
Objective(s):
1. Students will understand the history of Native American music, the Apache chief
Geronimo, and his Medicine Song.
2. Students will be able to play Geronimos Song on recorder.
3. Students will be able to identify, draw, and explain the relevance of the Native
American symbols to the lesson and create a Native American Feather Headband.
