this gives
them
something to

Understand- by
seeing the

students will
grasp
understanding
of what a
pattern is.

The students
will see how
patterns are in
everyday life
and can create
connections to

The students
will be able to

going around
the room looking
for certain
shapes the
students will
gain
understanding.
Also they will
learn about how
to find perimeter
and area of
those shapes.

The students
will create
connections
with the
physical shape
and how to
perform the
procedures so
they will be able
to have a better
understanding
and something
to look back to.

students will
then evaluate
the

and
credibility of
the sites.

they give.

The students
will complete

will give the
students so
they can get

Other
Reflection: In recent history education has drastically changed. Education has become so driven and focused on technology.
When I was in school I remember using technology such as computers to assist with research and testing but that is all. In less
than 10 years education has made giant improvements in technology and integration. I agree that technology is very helpful and
that technology skills need to be taught in order for students to succeed in our technology driven world, but it should not be the
main focus and it should have its time and place in lessons. I really think that mobile learning is a great tool for students and
teachers because of the variety and the unlimited options for adjusting the activity to fit a variety of students needs. It also helps
to combine the content with the strategy and technology. Overall mobile learning tools are very affective and useful in the
classroom but there is always good old fashioned pen and paper.
