I will create
a Storybird

properties
and order of
operations
that I will
give as
homework
to read. The
students will
then come
to class and
we will play
a game to

After each
question of

we will
discuss the
answer.

I will have
made the
students a

they can
access at

about the
order of

The children
will be
exposed to
the
information
when they
read the
story. They
can then
come to class
with
questions or
comments
and we can
have a
lecture on the
properties

operations.

Other
Reflection: Storybird is a great tool for elementary students because books are such a huge part in their learning. They get to be
authors and write their own stories. It also acts as a great tool and transition into talking about fair use and copyright. Students
can actively understand copyright because their stories are protected from copyright. Also teaching copyright when working with
research projects is a good time because questions come up a lot. Storybird can help with TPACK because there are a lot of
content areas that this can be used in, and it implements the use of technology into the class. This software has its place in a
school year for sure but maybe only once because it is slightly repetitive.
