Carter, Robert M. "Global Warming: Ten Facts and Ten Myths on Climate Change." (n.d.): n.
pag. Global Research. Web. 10 Nov. 2015.
My objective is of this article to differentiate the common myths and the
straightforward facts. The last thing I would like is to get mislead and use invalid
information. This article doesn't go to well with my topic as it has listed things that don't
fit what I was initially looking for. But I accept all information as this is isn't a typical
essay. This is a fairly credible source due to the fact it was written by a professor with
years of research. He is very involved in the environmental community and does
extensive work about climate change.
"Global Warming Causes, Climate Change Causes - National Geographic." National
Geographic. N.p., n.d. Web. 10 Nov. 2015.
This article highlights and emphasizes the reality of global warming along with
the man-made causes of it too. One quote that really summed up this article is "The only
way to explain the pattern is to include the effect of greenhouse gases (GHGs) emitted by
humans". This is not objective but rather true. This article flows with my stance very
well, demonstrating all the ways global warming is real. It really opened my eyes when I
read how much we the citizens of this world are damaging this earth. Not only is this a
respected source, but contributors are extremely skilled in their department. Also the
information they displayed is purely factual, nothing was opinionated.
"Global Warming: News, Facts, Causes & Effects." LiveScience. TechMedia Network, n.d. Web.

Climate scientists looking at the data and facts agree the planet is warming", if this
isn't enough evidence I don't know what is. It also explicitly states that global warming
will directly effect our climate severely. This compliments my stance very well, it
supports everything I had to say thus far. It shares many of the same views I have. This
source is very credible and useful. The site itself is extremely beneficial if you're trying to
find straightforward, non-biased material. It is a very popular site where you can derive a
lot of good information from.
Jenkinson. "Model Estimates of CO2 Emissions from Soil in Response to Global Warming."
Nature.com. Nature Publishing Group, 23 May 1991. Web. 10 Nov. 2015.
This article demonstrates the importance of our soil and how climate change can
affect it. As we all should know, organic matter in the soil is vital for various organisms to
live throughout the habitat. By releasing CO2 gases, our fertile soil will begin to
decompose. This article exposes another viewpoint of my issue. This all seems like a
domino effect, once one negative thing happens, other negative things follow. You must
begin to view global warming in its entirety. I know this is a reliable source not only
because I found it on a google scholar search but also because I looked into all the
references they incorporated and every single one of them seemed credible.
Korosec, Kirsten. "Elon Musk: Only a Carbon Tax Will Accelerate the World's Exit from
Fossil Fuels." Fortune Elon Musk Only a Carbon Tax Will Accelerate the Worlds Exit
from Fossil Fuels Comments. N.p., 02 Dec. 2015. Web. 05 Dec. 2015.
This article highlights the need to enforce carbon tax on countries in order to
change the way energy is used. Countries should change to sustainable energy due to the
expansive benefits. This article is very beneficial as it emphasizes what Ive been

suggesting for some time. It provides some extremely valuable insight from one of the
most influential men in science. This is very credible because it contains a video where I
listened to Mr. Musk speak about carbon tax and the upside of implementing it. It goes
into rich detail supporting the notion.

Vitousek, Peter M. "Beyond Global Warming: Ecology and Global Change." Ecological Society
of America, n.d. Web. 11 Oct. 2015.
This journal advocates the truth behind climate change and the sad reality that
climate change is man-made. The author provides us with knowledgable statistics and
evidence to back up his remarks. He successfully states ways that global warming is
happening. One intriguing summary he mentioned was "Three of the welldocumented
global changes are: increasing concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere;
alterations in the biogeochemistry of the global nitrogen cycle; and ongoing land use/land
cover change" (Vitousek). This article is extremely beneficial to my topic as it supports
my non-biased outlook of the whole situation. I was really pleased with the plethora of
informative quotes and statistics displayed in the text too. I am positive this is a credible
sources due to the lone fact of his resume. He has won prestigious awards in the past such
as Robert H. MacArthur award and many more. In addition, he has studied at the several
of the nations top schools and is widely regarded as an outstanding ecologist. He is a
clear expertise in his skilled field.
