sotheydonthavetobealarmedorliveintheunknown.Thereareno

Critique of the article:


The title says exactly what the article explains. From what I could see
of the abstract, it was covering everything it needed to cover; the
methodology, results and conclusion and was very easy to see where
they are going and what they are working to accomplish. The research

approach taken was applied because they were taking the different
teaching strategies and implementing them into daily routines.
In this article I loved that their focus included the parents and they also
taught parents a handful of different techniques that could be used to
help guide the strategy. Intervention instructions were embedded into
the daily routine that was being tested. In doing this it helped the child
to grow and work on their goal without them knowing that they were
working through play.
During the study 5 crucial steps were given. They were specifically for
implementing a general case teaching approach The simple cycle is :

Limitations of the study were given one of the limitations was that the
only thing that was observed and controlled carefully was the
communication between the primary parent and the child. However
others that interact with the child such as a babysitter, teacher or
daycare giver wasnt controlled or studied in this study.

Ilearnedthatitsimportantforparentstobemoreinvolvedininterventionsin
ordertohelptheirchildprogressevenmorethantheycouldwithonlythe
interventionists.Iwasalsoremindedhoweffectivedailyroutinesareaswellas
embeddinginformationintomeaningfulsituations.EverythingIwastoldand
havebeentaughthowtodoiswhatthisarticlewasalsodescribingandcarrying
outasfarasembeddinginformationgoes.
