Why do people bully?

To pretend they are tough


To try to get others to like them
To hide their own fears
To gain popularity
Because they do not like who they
are

Relational Aggression

Relational Aggression
Aggression in which harm is caused
by damaging someones
relationships or social status
More common within girls than boys

Excluding others from activities
Spreading rumors or gossiping
Withdrawing attention and friendship

Emotional Aggression
When someone tries to get what they
want by making others feel angry or afraid
Examples?
Name-calling, teasing, mocking
Humiliating or embarrassing others
Ignore or exclude someone
Lying

What is the difference between emotional


aggression and relational aggression?
