goes to explain the pros to musical education in a childs development. I will use the information to show
the mental and psychological developmental that musical development brings to a childs during their
immersion in it. I will use a portion to show that the students academic progress is greatly improved. I
will use information such as the following; The students in the study who received music instruction had
improved sound discrimination and fine motor tasks, and brain imaging showed changes to the networks
in the brain associated with those abilities

aspect of my paper. It explains the benefits of playing sports in school. I will use this to explain and show
what those benefits and responses of a sport program in school are to a child and how it pertains to the
development of that child.the information pertains by explaining the benefits compared to those not in the
said program and how these benefits are carried throughout their lives. I will use information such as;
Participation in school sports supports the healthy growth of the heart, lungs, muscles and bones. It also
improves agility, coordination and balance. Exercise also helps reduce stress levels, anxiety and
behavioral problems. Regular physical activity helps you relax better and reduces muscular tension.

2015. This article encompasses the topic of art programs and the need for art programs in a childs
development and how it benefits the given child. I plan on using this article to show how the arts program
influences and changes a childs thinking process for the better. I also plan to use this as a show of the
developmental benefits of the arts programs in schools. I plan on using information such as; A report by
Americans for the Arts states that young people who participate regularly in the arts (three hours a day on
three days each week through one full year) are four times more likely to be recognized for academic
achievement, to participate in a math and science fair or to win an award for writing an essay or poem
than children who do not participate. to make strengthen my essay.

activities play in a childs life in and of school. The long lasting benefits it has and how they help on the
development of a childs mind. I plan to use this article to show how the programs benefit and accelerate
the learning curve that is attributed to these given programs. I also plan to use this article to touch on the
psychological pros on a child and how it can lead to success. I will use quotes such as this; A study by
Virginia Penhune at Concordia University shows that musical training, particularly instrumental training,
produces long lasting changes in motor abilities and brain structure. The earlier a child starts instrumental
training, the stronger the connection between the right and left hemispheres of the brain.

perks to taking music in school. I plan to use this information to show the benefits of a music program in
schools on its participating students. I will information from the source to show the mental and physical
benefits on a childs development. The information will go to show the prominence and necessity of
music programs in a childs development. I will use information such as Students of music can be more
emotionally developed, with empathy towards other cultures. They also tend to have higher self esteem
and are better at coping with anxiety.
