E-Portfolio Reflection
Earths history will never fully be known. Thanks to archeologists, historians,
anthropologists, and science in general we somewhat have an idea of our Earths history.
Thanks to recovered documents and artifacts we can piece together what was going on
during that time in history. It is important to know what happened in history in order to
put it in the correct context. This can be applied to many things in ones life. History
could encompass something that happened 1,000 years ago or 1 week ago, so it is
important to be as informed as possible in order to make an intelligent decision about
ones lifes choices.
This course has really helped me understand why history is so important. History
is recurring in most aspects, so its key to knowing what will happen in the future. The
most important thing I took away from this class is that necessity drives innovation, and it
will be that way for years and years to come.
