Part 1 Anticipatory Set

An anticipatory set is used to activate prior knowledge and experience and it


helps students focus their attention and relate it to todays lesson

Part 2: Objective

The objective is what students will be able to know or do


by the end of this lesson.
The overarching purpose is the broad standard that is
related

Part 3: Instructional Input

The knowledge you will communicate to your students


Imparts new information to achieve the stated objectives

Part 4: Modeling

Show or demonstrate the skill or competence you want


your students to emulate.

Part 5: Check for Understanding

Activities that let you examine how well the students
