INTRODUCTION
In its operations as well as its branding , Spells Good, LLC focuses on providing a wow
experience for every customer and gift recipient. Our mission and core values are evident in
everything we do, especially in our logos and promotions.
LOGO
Spells Goods mission, to provide magical moments through delicious and high -quality treat
offerings, personalized with care, is illustrated through its logo (pictured below).
Already a play on words in its relation to smells good, Spells Goods logo also takes advantage
of the word Spells and connects it to magic through the image of a wand. The placement of the
image depicts the companys name as the subject of the spell and the sparks that shoot out of
the wand add a sort of action to the static image.
The font was traced and altered using Adobe Illustrator over a typeface found on dafont.com,
called DJB Almost Perfect.
Prior to deciding on this design, other logo options in cluded an A-B-C format that would spell out
the company name, perhaps in building blocks. Another idea was to have the companys initials
in a circle with a bite taken out of it. However, the A -B-C option seemed too far targeted towards
children and caregivers while the latter option looked too similar to the Apple logo. The design
pictured above was chosen because it best fit the company vision.

Purple: Purple often refers to royalty and has also been associated with magic. Spells Goods
products are designed to be special treats and not necessarily low in cost so that initial
impression to consumers that this brand has an above average status must be understood.
Additionally, Spells Goods mission to create magical moments through its high-quality products
and extraordinary service is brought into the logos color scheme with the inclusion of purple.

SUPPORTING IM AGES
In addition to Spells Goods logo are several key supporting images that allow the brand to be
tailored to any specific promotional need.
The wand is a great way to denote the Spells Good brand without any script.
This iconic option is often used on our house special cookies, as an
exclamation point in our advertisements, and on promotional clothing items.
Standalone Wand
Spells Good is currently working to expand our product line specifically for
children. This version of the Spells Good package image uses the logos font
for a more free-form and playful feel.
BANNER AD
Spells Good is well on its way to being a leader in the specialty gifts industry. Not only does
Spells Good provide its customers with delicious baked goods but also with offers of beautiful
flower arrangements from locally-owned and operated businesses. This banner ad specifically
promotes Spells Goods floral offerings for multiple occasions and audiences.
Although this offer may be perceived as a romantic gift between partners, it
could also be a familial exchange between mother and daughter. Rather
than using deep red tones for a sultry look, the soft pinks in the color
scheme refer to more of a sweet admiration, appropriate for even grandma.
In addition to this ads versatility in to whom it appeals, it also highlights a
key component of Spells Goods unique offering, which is the customization
and personalization of its products. Find Her Favorites is a call-to-action
that implies the presence of an item specifically for the customer s intended
recipient.
The picture in the background shows the flowers but the type, Tell her with
more than a card alludes to a wide array of gift options. Also the idea of
celebrating love and sending magic reinforces the concept that Spells Good
facilitates magical moments.
Strategic placement of the logo at the top of the banner and the website at
the bottom along with the two buttons encourage the target consumers
engagement with the brand.
All of these elements come together to create an eye-pleasing and
professional-looking banner ad consistent with the brand s strategic vision.
